A store for role-playing gamers is moving into a bigger space on Railroad Avenue.

Dark Tower Games expects to reopen at 1431 Railroad Ave. at noon on Thursday, Nov. 8, said owner Nathaniel Williams. The new space is next to Cicchitti’s Pizza and the E. Champion St. intersection, in the former American Drapery and Blind space.

At 2,500 square feet, the new store will be two-and-a-half times the size of the old space at 929 N. State St.

“We were bursting at the seams in the old space, so this will give us more room to breathe,” said Williams, who opened the business in December 2011.

Along selling products, the store regularly hosts gaming tournaments. Products for sale include Warhammer 40,000, Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering. Once it reopens, store hours are noon-10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Later this month, the business plans to also be open on Sunday.
