My apologies for not posting for a few days; I was hit with the Bellingham crud that’s been making its way around town. I’m back at work playing catch-up and posting away again. Here’s some news about a local company expanding into a new space on Marine Drive:

Signs Plus Inc. has begun implementing its 2013 expansion plans, the largest in the company’s 20 year history.

In December Signs Plus purchased the San Juan Building at 766 Marine Drive in Bellingham, near the Bennett Drive intersection.

“We are thrilled to be moving to this new facility” said Signs Plus CEO, Dale Gravning, in a news release. “This new facility nearly doubles our building square footage, allowing for a more streamlined operation, and increased production capacity.”

Signs Plus moved to their current facility, located at 1330 N. Forest St. in 1999, and has planned the expansion with the ending of their lease at this facility. Signs Plus is moving to the new facility in stages so as not to disrupt the production of signs, and plans to be fully moved by this spring.

Signs Plus began in 1992 as a small commercial shop creating banners, vehicle lettering and other promotional signs.
