BizBlog is back in business

I’m back in the office now, and after a day of clearing out my e-mail and returning phone messages, I’m ready to start blogging again. Here are a couple of interesting items I’ve come across…

– It appears plans are in the works to occupy the former Plan B Saloon space on 1212 N. State St. (near The Color Pot). According to a new state liquor license application, Hollie Huthman is planning to open a night club called The Shakedown.

– The  Bloom cafe on 1320 Cornwall Ave. is closed, and is transitioning into a catering business that will also host events and parties, according to the sign on the door. The vegan-only restaurant opened about a year ago.
