The flu bug has hopefully run its course at home, so I’m back in the office getting caught up on all the business news I missed last week. First, here’s the list of seven banks that closed on Friday, bringing the total to 106 on the year:

Partners Bank, Naples, Fla.
First Dupage Bank, Westmont, Ill.
Florida and Georgia continue to be popular on this bank closure list.

In case you haven’t heard yet, the winner of Tuesday’s WWIB award was Debbie Gann of Home Attendant Care. I know, you guys are thread bare in the newsroom and The Herald won’t send you to a dinner event. Anyway, hope you print something soon, I’ve had people I know ask about when The Herald will print something about Debbie.
