A grand opening will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13 for a new in-home care provider.

The company, Right at Home, and is at 114 W. Magnolia St., Suite 109, in the Crown Plaza Building. The event, which will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, prizes and catered food, will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Right at Home is owned and operated by Sharon and Steve Morris. The focus of the company is to have compassionate caregivers help people continue to live in the comfort of their own home, according to a news release.

“We have been personally involved in the challenges faced by supporting the independence, dignity and quality of life of their aging parents. With this experience, we both felt strongly that we would like to be involved with a business that would be meaningful and make a difference in people’s lives,” said Sharon Morris in the news release.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is being put on by the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry, while the event is being catered by Fool’s Onion and Pure Bliss Desserts.
