Zen Sushi and Bar has applied for a Washington State liquor license to sell beer and wine at 3101 Cinema Place, near the new Bellingham movie theater in the Barkley district. The applicants are Anuchit Tipasathien and Nutthinee Kiewboriboon
If they are going into that address, Zen Sushi would join Regal Cinema and The Woods Coffee as the newest tenants in that area. No announcement yet on what businesses are occupying the other available spaces currently under construction, but it’s expected to be businesses in the food service industry.
I heard rumors that there might be a Taco Bell in one of those spaces.
