How about building permits–single family, multi and commercial/industrial??

  2. Hi Ted,

Good question. Bellingham hasn’t released its December totals yet, but they issued 616 permits through November 2009. In 2008 they had 776 permits and 946 in 2007.

In unincorporated Whatcom County, there were 855 permits issued in 2009, down 25 percent in 2008, when there were 1,142 permits issued.

I’ll take a closer look at the breakdowns you mentioned to see what trends can be found.
