Tonight’s Bellingham Art Walk to include tree lighting, exhibits

The Downtown December Art Walk will kick off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 with a tree lighting ceremony at the Depot Market Square.

Mayor Kelli Linville will be among those at the ceremony, which will have refreshments provide by The Woods Coffee.

Other events include a lighted bike parade, hosted by Everybody Bike. Those involved in the parade will meet at the Public Market at 6 p.m. The Whatcom Museum Lightcatcher Building will present improvisation shows from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

A variety of downtown businesses will also be open during the Art Walk, including the antique stores along “Antique Roe” on Holly Street like  Etta’s Attic Antiques, Penny Lane Antique Mall and Vintage 360.
