I was looking through the state liquor license applications and found one for a new winery near Everson. It’s called Willow Tree Vineyard at 5551 Finsrud Road. The applicants are Donald Anderson, Linda Anderson, Heather Gorum and Bradley Gorum.
Despite the recession, there seems to be quite a bit of growth in the winery business in Washington state, as well as Whatcom County. The last time I checked, there were nine established Whatcom County wineries.
