Here are some details, taken from a company press release:

The Alpha Group recently acquired OutBack Power Systems of Arlington, a producer of renewable energy inverter systems.

This addition provides a strategic product line extension for The Alpha Group’s power electronics global business base, while reinforcing Alpha’s commitment to expansion and investment in Northwest Washington.

“The addition of OutBack to the Alpha Group supports our broader renewable energy strategy,” said Fred Kaiser, Chairman of The Alpha Group in the press release. “Alpha has more than 30 years of experience developing reliable, efficient and rugged powering solutions; the OutBack product line is going to help us continue our leadership position in innovative powering systems, as we integrate their proven solar power technology throughout Alpha’s product offering.”

OutBack, now operating as OutBack Power Technologies, Inc., will continue with the existing management team at its current Arlington facility, working with other members of The Alpha Group to broaden their market and accelerate growth.

OutBack Power Technologies, Inc. manufactures innovative power conversion solutions that integrate solar, wind and hydro resources to provide reliable electric power for the renewable energy, mobile and backup power markets.

Other members of The Alpha Group include Alpha Technologies Inc., Alpha Technologies Ltd., Alpha Energy, Alpha Industrial Power, Alpha Technologies Services Inc., Altair Advanced Industries, Inc. and Mitra Innovations.
