Whatcom storage business transitions to new name, plans for expansion

Written by | The Bellingham Herald | November 19, 2012

A transformation is underway at 7350 Guide Meridian Road as Big Steel Box in America is changing its name to Simple Box Storage.

Simple Box co-owners, Ross and Dave Black of Lynden, have provided a variety of storage options to Whatcom County residents since 1997.

Along with the name change, Simple Box has increased its focus on making a difference in the community and beyond. The shipping containers and storage boxes support local events and charitable organizations including Ski-to-Sea, Muds to Suds, Habitat for Humanity, New Generation Haiti, and Mt. of Olives Children’s Village in Uruapan, Mexico.

Simple Box plans to expand into other Washington cities in the coming months.

Simple Box Storage provides moving and storage solutions to customers in Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties. Contact 1-855-855-4BOX or getsimplebox.com for information.
