Just when you thought you’d heard everything, the Bellingham police logs are there to prove you wrong.

Reported: Nov 7 2012 1:27PM
Location: 1300 BLK COMMERCIAL ST
Offense: LIQUOR LAW VIOLATION
Case #: 12B41807

(I1) was contacted by an officer at the above location and issued an infraction for Drinking in Public. (I1) told the officers she was sorry for taking up their time, but admitted that she had not plans to stop drinking alcohol in public. She asked one officer if he could leave his ticket book with her so that she could continue to drink in public and simply write the tickets to herself. Since she does not pay her tickets and does not care if officers issue her more infractions in the future, (I1) said that it would be just as effective if she wrote the tickets to herself. The officers advised (I1) that leaving the ticket book with her was not an option and requested that she please comply with the laws.
