Via police scanner traffic:
A man was taken to St. Joseph hospital after a crash into a ditch in the 5900 block of Noon Road on Saturday evening, June 30.
About 6:45, the man called 911 to report he was trapped inside the vehicle. Nobody else was inside. The crash was described as a rollover.
When firefighters arrived the driver was still trapped, so they pulled him out and transported him to the hospital. Sounded like the most serious injury was to one of his arms.
In other police scanner news, a driver almost crashed into a deputy’s patrol car about 7:40 p.m. near Sudden Valley’s Gate 3.
The suspect then “fled” — not sure if that meant fled by driving off, or fled by getting out and running away. Either way, deputies were setting up a perimeter.
