This story about Frank L. Clark, who died last week in a motorcycle crash on Mount Baker Highway, mentioned a head-on crash that happened a few weeks earlier at the same intersection.
Matt Waldman, a roofer who’s quoted in the story, sent me these photos showing the aftermath of the Sept. 6 crash. (Thanks, Matt.) The pickup driver suffered a nasty gash to his face, but in the end, both drivers were OK.

It is about time something is done. As soon as I heard about this it became a mission to get a petition, something done to get this fixed. I have a person to call at the Roads Department and want to find out just how to get this location changed.
I was shocked to read in the Bellingham Herald that there are few accidents there. HOG WASH! Maybe the are not all as severe but have seen and heard of many and have been close to being in one myself.
I do plan on doing whatever I can to change this! Once it gets figured out how (soon as possible) I will be contacting everyone I can think of. Lets stop this intersection disaster!
