Five men were booked into jail after a bar fight at Cap Hansen’s Tavern early Monday, Sept. 10.
Fetuli Eneliko, 32, was in the bar after midnight when he walked up to the victim, “belly bumped” him and “allegedly asked him, ‘What’s up?’” said Bellingham police spokesman Mark Young.
The 24-year-old man — who later said he didn’t know Eneliko — felt unsafe. So he turned to walk out of the bar. That’s when Eneliko attacked him, Young said. Witnesses told police four other men jumped in and joined the fight on Eneliko’s side.
The victim was left with swelling and bruising to his face. He did not need to be transported to a hospital. Police arrived and tracked down the suspects about a block away on Cornwall Avenue.
Eneliko was arrested on investigation of fourth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Police accused three men of running away: Patrick Gerrell Henry Matias, 31, of Vacaville, Calif.; Pernell Collier, 34, of Baton Rouge, La.; Wilford Charles Griffin, 37, of Baton Rouge, La. They were booked into jail on suspicion of obstructing law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
Dwan Paul Joseph, 33, of Mount Vernon, only faces the disorderly conduct charge.

Billy “the snitch” King pulled one of these! She needed 4 other guys’ help to beet up a teenager. When the “co’s” confronted him he said the other guys were behind it and he was just in there trying to help out.
