If you’re passing through Arlington today on your way to Thanksgiving dinner, expect some long delays on Interstate 5.
A Snohomish County Sheriff’s motorcycle deputy crashed on the freeway near Arlington, leading to backups that are miles long.
It’s unclear how badly the deputy is hurt, the Everett Herald reported. The state Department of Transportation is estimating the scene could be cleared for traffic by 11 a.m.
Wsahington State Patrol Trooper Keith Leary has been tweeting from the scene.
