Nobody had been charged in this crash on Chuckanut Drive as of Saturday afternoon, Aug. 18, said Washington State Patrol Sgt. Kirk Rudeen.

A motorcyclist collided with a truck on Slater Road near Interstate 5 Wednesday afternoon, July 11.
Initial reports suggested a man was thrown about 15 feet from his motorbike at 5:05 p.m. Sounded like he was conscious, but not moving because of back pain.
This comes on the same day police said motorcyclist Christopher Whitbeck had died. On Tuesday, Whitbeck hit a stopped Nissan Titan head-on in Bellingham. Police said he was thrown about 65 feet and died later at St. Joseph hospital.
