Via scanner traffic:

8:10 a.m. Fuel spill reported near corner of Meridian Street and Bakerview Road. Diesel slick seen coming from Cost Cutter, onto West Bakerview, then onto Meridian. Not clear on size.

9 a.m. “A deer needs to be put down” on Valley View Road.

9:05 a.m. Somebody’s finger got “stuck in the wheel of an ice chest” at the Cascade Inn, 208 N. Samish Way. The finger was turning blue.

9:30 a.m. Deputies contacting someone in or near the Nooksack Falls parking lot to talk about missing person report.

10:05 a.m. White Honda collided with mail truck in the 600 block of Halleck Street, by the Municipal Court building. Nobody hurt. Not blocking traffic.

10:10 a.m. Sounds like somebody struck a “Chevy 15-passenger … Lummi van.” No tones for medical aid.
