Bellingham and Whatcom County offer a wide variety of entertainment options, from family-friendly festivals to college music to world-class arts. Several Bellingham Herald staff members are collaborating to bring you the latest in entertainment news on this blog and on our "Bellingham Entertainment" page on Facebook.
Regular contributors are: Margaret Bikman, who has regularly attended arts events since moving to Bellingham in 1986. She has been gathering calendars and writing about the arts for The Bellingham Herald since 1990; Virginia Cleaveland, copy editor, designer and social media editor at The Bellingham Herald, who first moved to Bellingham in 2008. She enjoys the area's vibrant live music and arts community; Jamie Lawson, a copy editor and designer with the Bellingham Herald's sports department since 2004, who is interested in the local music scene; and Robert Mittendorf, a copy editor and designer at The Bellingham Herald since 2002, who writes about family-friendly and community events for Take Five.
Joining in occasionally will be Managing Editor Debbie Townsend, who studied film along with journalism at USC and Executive Editor Julie Shirley, who watches too much TV.
