Bellingham: 26 Hours of Music For 26 Local Charities 26 Acts of Kindness For Sandy Hook Elementary

An event to recognize and support Newtown, Conn, takes place at the Blue Horse Gallery, 301 W. Holly St,  6-11 p.m. Jan. 10; 7 p.m.-midnight Jan. 11; noon-midnight, Saturday, Jan. 12; and 2 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday Jan. 13. We can do this by pulling together in our own community, being kind to each other and giving to our local charities.
Features 26 hours of music and performance building community and spreading kindness, with the goal of filling 26 big jars with donations remembering each lost life in Newtown while supporting a local charity.
Volunteers, performers and organizations should to help organize and staff the event; businesses to donate food and beverages for sale and businesses to donate money to to the featured charities, please email: Bluehorsegallery@gmail.com.
