The South Fork Valley Community Association’s second Poetry Cafe & Dessert Potluck (coffee & tea provided) begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at Van Zandt Hall on Highway 9 and Potter Road (across from Everybody’s Store). The lineup includes Norm Curtis, reciting “The Cremation of Sam Magee;” teen poet Manta Rogers, Bil Snow reading his original poetry; banjo player Ben Hickey; poet Stephanie Hopkinson; Bill Baroch interpreting John Muir; poet Judy Harding; singer, songrwriter and author Tim McHugh; poet Lois Holub; poet Doug Dobyns; and songwriters Robin Wallbridge & Kent Rogers. Donations towards the soon to begin electrical/lighting project for the Van Zandt Hall are greatly appreciated.

I was there at the event on 17th. It was one great experience sitting with fellow poetry lovers. I am definitely going to attend this in future as well.
