Sad news that the legend who wrote the song for whom The Bellingham Herald’s arts and entertainment magazine was named, Dave Brubeck, died of heart failure today, Dec. 5, at age 91. His son, Chris Brubeck, played with his own band, Triple Play, in 2004 with the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, by the way.
