Circus arts classes for kids 8-14

Circus Arts Playshop info from the Bellingham Circus Guild newsletter:

Mondays after school from 4 to 5:30 pm

Kids ages 8-14 will engage in Creative Play, Learning and Practice of Arts and Activities Inspired by Circus and Vaudevillian Artists from around the world. Tightrope, Slackrope, Trapeze, Juggling, Acro-balance, Tumbling, Clowning, Unicycle, creatively welded bicycle contraptions and a bit of magic are all included in the mix as well as an openness to whatever individual interests the kids bring with them.
From 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM each Monday, the Cirque Lab, 1401 6th Ave. (At 6th and Harris in Fairhaven), will be full of focused activity, determined effort, and the sound of laughter.
The Lab is full of equipment and resources to provoke and inspire exploration and creation.  Jason Quick M.A., professional performing artist and inspirational speaker, will instruct, facilitate, and demonstrate to keep the days packed with joyful learning and creativity.
Cost for the Playshop is a sliding fee$12 to $15 per week.
