Whatcom Farm to School is running another fun contest—and, in this one, kids get to play chef! The competition, run in conjunction with Sustainable Connections, challenges children in Whatcom County to develop a local, winter meal menu that could be served in local school cafeterias. The winning menu will use local winter foods and will be rewarded with $100 and a feature meal at the Western Washington University dining halls! More information is available at Ideal Real Meal.
