eBooks

I got a newer iPad for Christmas and gave the older one to the cubs to share.  They love it! They’ve been playing games like crazy.  I showed them how to access library eBooks online, and they’ve been reading eBooks, too, just like their sire!  Here’s a couple of eBooks available from the library for boys:

Flynn Saves The DayFlynn Saves the Day (Thomas & Friends) – Sodor’s newest star, Flynn the fire engine, arrives just in time to help Percy put out a fire and save Thomas. Little boys ages 3-6 will thrill to this Step 1 SIR based on the newest Thomas & Friends direct-to-DVD movie, Day of the Diesels.

Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker- As the sun sets behind the big construction site, all the hardworking trucks get ready to say goodnight. One by one, Crane Truck, Cement Mixer, Dump Truck, Bulldozer, and Excavator finish their work and lie down to rest—so they’ll be ready for another day of rough and tough construction play! With irresistible artwork by best-selling illustrator Tom Lichtenheld and sweet, rhyming text, this book will have truck lovers of all ages begging for more.

Find more eBooks for kids and teens on your library’s catalog – www.wcls.org or www.bellinghampubliclibrary.org.  Just search for “eBooks.”

And remember to get your child (17 and under) their own library card – no fines on kids or teen items checked out on kids or teen library cards as of January 1st!
