The autumn rains chased the cubs inside and they were driving me crazy romping around the house. Luckily, there’s a bit of a cure. The children’s library staff showed me a website full of indoor activities for my crafty cubs, just in time to decorate the house for Thanksgiving.
It’s called “Activity Village” and has fun stuff to create for every holiday and season, as well as educational resources. You can also find activities according to grade level. There’s even a jokes page with classics like, “What’s blue and covered with feathers? A turkey holding its breath!”
Take a look online or stop by your local library and print out a few pages to take home: http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/autumn_activities_for_kids.htm
