Challenges

As we begin 2013 we prepare for the year of the snake. Although this event will not happen until February, what might we consider to be in store as this is the snake that ate the dragon!

The snake is a sign of mystery, patience and independence. Being the water snake this year means we will also experience confidence, grace and intelligence.

Upon entering this year we nearly fell off an economic cliff, but we didn’t, this is a good way to start. Perhaps we will conquer our fears in creative ways, listen to each other a little more and work things out. When disagreements arise it is a good idea to establish the facts, weigh in on what is important then balance it by what feels right.

When someone just can’t see your vision it’s a good time to paint a picture.
What . . . you are not an artist? well I’m not a mathematician but I still do my taxes. Look at different levels of ability, climb them like a staircase if you must but don’t avoid going upstairs just because you think you can’t climb the whole set. Perhaps you can land on the second floor and get a different view. Try seeing the your opponent’s side of the story, see if you can paint the picture they project.

If your opponent is your child, even better. Learning is a multi channel adventure.
