Wynne said it was a great place to enjoy a meal on a nice spring day. Dashi Noodle Bar maintains the parklet and covers parking fees for the parking spots filled.

Hoapa Mucaria’s dog, Couper, sniffs out some trash during a walk Monday morning, May 13, 2013, along Little Squalicum Beach in Bellingham. The Ocean Conservancy released a report Monday on beach debris, calling on people to change their habits to cut down on what ends up on beaches and in oceans. Whatcom County residents already do many of the suggestions, such as carry reusable bags and water bottles.
