Bellingham artist Maryann Schmitt displays her paintings and drawings at Honey Salon, 310 W. Holly St., for the Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, Downtown Art Walk in Bellingham. Her artwork will be on display through March at the salon.
Through oil paint, pastel and charcoal, Schmitt seeks to capture her friends’ authentic selves – both realistically and exaggerated – in her series “The Landscape of People.” She will also be showing pieces from her current body of work, including some abstracts.
