On January 4, 2013 the skies were clear, which is rare, so I took a drive on Lummi Shore Road to take some photos back on the city with the clear skies and snow on the mountains for future use. I noticed on the beach in some areas ice covering the rocks. As the sun slowly hit ice you could hear all of it crackle as it slowly melted.
