Cantwell pushes measure to promote “freight mobility”

In a press release issued Tuesday, March 7, U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell said she is pushing a measure to “prioritize intermodal freight transportation infrastructure planning and development to support a growing trade economy.”

    So does this mean she supports the coal dump?

    It seems like she and PM are both being pretty cagey about the GPT and other coal exports. Since there isn’t comment against the terminals, I have to assume this legislation includes plans for public funding to upgrade infrastructure paving the way for massive coal exports. I think those concerned need to be very vocal about this.
