Comic relief … sort of

The New York Times posted this funny-ish opinion/documentary, about 7 minutes along, titled, “11 Reasons Not to Vote?”

Not to be a spoiler, but I gathered that its message was the opposite — a call *to* vote, by filmmaker Errol Morris.

Some highlights:

From a devil’s advocate, who argued for not voting: “Everything will continue to clunk along as it has before, as it will in the future.”

Promoting entrepreneurship: “If I could sell my vote, I probably would.” (Guess what her price was.)

What to do with “overzealous advocates?”: “They should be sent to Antarctica.”

My favorite part was the response to Reason No. 4, “The Electoral College.” I’ll let you see that part for yourself.
