Wait wait wait, I take it back. Looking at the website Protect Marriage Washington, the group that supposedly created that commercial, they have three ads for viewing, but none of them are this one.

However, this ad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPPiTJY-Rkg) bears some striking similarities to the ad Colbert showed, but the statements were equally as outlandish. I think it was a parody.

Shucks, I was going to post the Youtube link to the “No on R-71″ video Colbert used, but the user went and made the video private just this afternoon! I couldn’t tell if the video was a joke or serious… but if they went and made it private I’m guessing the ad was serious.

He’s right.
The only real remedy is to approve the referendum and then it won’t matter who signed the petitions.
Even if they were Scandinavians.
