“This election for me has always been about November and not about August 17,” Larsen said. “That’s why we didn’t spend any money, except for volunteers to make phone calls. Our phone bill is pretty steep.”
Larsen said he’ll be focusing on the economy and jobs through November, and that he wanted to “building an environment where businesses can create jobs.”
He reiterated stump speech talking points about opening up access to credit for small businesses and landing the Air Force tanker contract for Boeing.
He also touted the portion of the healthcare reform law that provided a Medicare prescription drug payment to close what is known as the “doughnut hole.”
As it appears clear Larsen will face Koster, despite the early returns, that’s who I chatted with him about.
“My presumed opponent wants to repeal the Wall Street reform bill that currently holds Wall Street accountable to the taxpayers and consumers,” Larsen said of the Republican Snohomish County Councilman.
“I think voters have a clear choice this fall,” Larsen said. “We can move forward, get the economy going, help seniors, or go backwards and try the things that Republicans wanted to do over the last decade that got us in this mess.”

“Larsen: This election is about economy, support for seniors”
Well it certainly isn’t about dumping crappy Democratic Congressmen obviously!
Good Night and Good Luck!

Hey Rick, why don’t you brag about all of the government money spent on your “caulking program”? That will surley appease all of us that are unemployed due to the policies Congress have come up with to help the ones who truly provide jobs. Oh yeah, don’t forget about the money you voted to support ACORN!
