This has to be a quick hit, as I leave early today for Ferndale, to hear about water softening and the new library.
Ex-Gov. Chris Gregoire’s name was being bandied about as a likely candidate for a cabinet or other high-level post under President Obama. (I had heard EPA mostly.)
This blog post from The Herald of Everett notes that the likelihood this will happen is much decreased after today.
Gregoire seemed a natural choice in this round of cabinet selections at the start of Obama’s second term. She’s backed Obama ever since he was fighting Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination in 2008.
