Thanks, Shaun. Yes, Kelli’s close tie with T…….v is of great concern to me too. So I assume the pig in a poke you’re referring to is L.S.?

  2. g.h.kirsch says:

Why are you all so shocked that Kelli’s in bed with the developers?

The money behind Linville has long been and will be the developers, builders and speculators who recruited her. They want to get rid of the mayor who opposed their program to expand UGAs unnecessarily; and is trying to halt development in the rural areas around the city’s reservoir; the guy who wouldn’t cooperate to extending water and sewers to the north shore of Lake Whatcom.

When she was approached by Pike to help convince Ecology to enforce the closure of the watershed to new water withdrawals, she asked him to lay off; claiming she had a plan of her own.

Bellingham waited almost two years … nothing. Now she wants to take charge and stop the effort from the mayor’s office.

A friend, a local elected, frustratingly observed recently, “it’s a dream come true to run as a Democrat and be backed by the BIAW.” Maybe, but hell, Kremen’s been doin’ it for years!

    Bingo Mom……….

My other concern with Kelli is strictly one of integrity towards others whom she has supported and who supported her. Plus I think she views Pike as vulnerable because of who she is listening to and she is thinking more of a new paycheck than where she can really do some good, since she isn’t inclined to spurn Snidely and his bilking ilk. All just wreaks of opportunism, the worst of politics and playing to the disgruntled from the last campaign who have so much lumpy, grumpy wool over their eyes they can’t see the pasture for the paddock
