  1. I will take “Places Riley Looks Forward to Being” for $500, Alex.

  2. Shaun says:

Since I’m on the road I haven’t had the opportunity to hear Kelli expound on any specific issues….Has she said anything about what she would do differently than Pike, other than start to collect an replacement income and ascend the throne based on imagined contributions based on her popularity? Will she wear an evening gown to the event or a swimsuit?

  3. SusanG says:

Maybe she’ll be able to repair some of the damaged relationships the city has after the last three years of our current mayor. The business community has had it with him, and he has terrible relationships with the university, the port, the county, neighborhoods, just about anyone who has ever done any business with the city. Kelli is an experienced leader who listens to people. Our current mayor just condescends and goes around telling everyone else how to do their jobs. But what has he gotten done at the city? Not much. Ask just about anyone who has dealt with him and you’ll get the same story. He’s got the worst people skills of anyone in local government.

  4. Shaun says:

That’s just nonsensical hyperbole with nothing to back it it up….I talk to city official regular and they think He has done a credible job guiding the city during a depression. He has dealt with rogue officials bilking the public. He has dealt with disgruntled property owners trying to push poor land use decisions to benefit themselves…some of whom now work on Kelli’s campaign. Of course when a strong leader steps up to put a stop to waste and insider shenanigans they will incur the wrath of those used to running their boondoggles. Of course when a strong leader deals with those used to getting their way, as perhaps you and yours were used to, he will suffer baseless, petty and unjustified sniping of the totally valueless kind you so aptly represent here…..That you so glibly toss of generalized accusations just tells me the man is a leader, doing his job and leading…something it would be refreshing to see at the county level, but I fear with Kelli we will get nothing but a carbon copy of Pete Kremen, and the two of them combined would only insure more years of divisive and stagnant change.

  5. Shaun says:

well that was some poor editing….but I think my points were clear.

  6. AFY says:
