The Daily Show does The Glenn Beck Show

Apologies to all this morning for a lack of posting. As per my usual Friday mad rush I’m trying to work on three articles at once. I’ll try to come back sometime this afternoon with some more posts, but until then, there’s this:

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart Mon - Thurs 11p / 10c
The 11/3 Project

Daily Show

Political Humor Health Care Crisis

    This was good.

Don’t really care about Beck or Stuart. What I’d like to know is how many subscriptions to Netflix do I need to buy before the pop-ups go away?

    Absolutely hillarious!

Use Firefox and Adblock and you won’t have to buy anything.

Jon’s impression of Beck was pretty dang spot-on.

    Gotta love the blackboard.
‘Purity of essence’ aimed straight at the colon and
‘NAFTA doesn’t equal table salt’ are my favorites.

I once considered doing a parody of Beck, but gave up the idea when I realized he’s already done it.

I confess to fantasies of Glenn Beck’s book burning in piles across America..but then that would make me hypocritical, so I’ll just look for a rest room every time I encounter it; after all, feeding such ignorance with credibility and cash is patently absurd so I wouldn’t want to buy them and I’m not an arsonist, so my plan has some flaws, but that’s why it’s a fantasy.

I am a Jon Stewart fan and a Glenn Beck fan. They are both quite entertaining. I bet Glenn got a kick out of it. More free publicity and funny to boot. Gotta love the blackboard!

It would be funny if everyone thought it was just mindless entertainment, but a lot of people listen to the Beck and believe he knows his patoot from a hole in the ground.

I agree Jurgen. That any sane person, knowing the history and character of Glen Beck, would take him seriously has to make a person pessimistic about the future of this country.

When you’re told something you already believe,
it doesn’t matter who’s doing the telling.
