Twitter is endlessly fascinating to me. It must be, considering how much time I spend every day staring at it.
As a sports fan, following a game on Twitter while not watching it on TV is like sitting in the stands, listening to the crowd around you, while having an obstructed view.
As the state legislative session has geared up this week, I’ve created a column on my Tweetdeck account that shows all tweets that include the hashtag “waleg.” Not only am I seeing the tweets of political parties, interest groups and veteran state reporters such as TNT’s Peter Callaghan, I’m also seeing the more offbeat political tweeters, including Undead Olympia, whose avatar is a particularly ghoulish mug of Chris Gregoire with fangs.
So if you’re interested in the legislative session, search “#waleg” on Twitter. If anything stands out to you as especially interesting, weird or important, let us know in the comments.
