U.S. Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray, gubernatorial candidate Jay Inslee and U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen. will be at Squalicum Boathouse this morning (Thursday, Nov. 1) at 11:15 to discuss their “Jobs for Washington” program.
In case you just joined us, all four are Democrats. Cantwell and Larsen are campaigning for reelection. Inslee is in a close raise to fill the seat of departing Gov. Chris Gregoire, facing Republican Attorney General Rob McKenna.
Campaign aides say the Bellingham stop will focus on federal support for higher education, and Western Washington University students will be there to talk about Pell Grants and related programs that help students and their families pay for college.

When those vehemently opposed to a candidate (Inslee), LEAD with their opposition being based on who may have supported a candidate (like they can control it) then you know they
have no substantive opposition.

BTW; Democrats announced they would donate half the money to the campaign to support Washington’s gay marriage law and half to the Anti-Defamation League, which they should be commended for.
However on the other hand; JZ Knight says she strongly supports Democratic candidate for Governor Jay Inslee, did any of her dough make it to Inslee, has he given it back, and has he come out with a public statement about just how wrong this lady is?

Methinks if Jay directly or indirectly got dough from this lady he should give it back or away as other democrats have done; i.e. Bruce Lachney, Denny Heck, and even Sandra Romero one of Knight’s strongest supporters.
Knight’s foul and bigoted statements; slurs and obscenities directed at Catholics, Gays, Jews and Mexicans should be repudiated by all democrats and republicans no matter how much money she has given directly and indirectly to any of them.
