I have it very much in mind these days the many requests from blog readers for more coverage of state government, especially when it is locally relevant.
Well, I figured out an easy way to give you the first half of that — the more coverage of state government part. The locally relevant part is something I will continue to watch for.
But if you’re looking for a blow-by-blow account of what’s going on in Olympia this session, where better to look than The Olympian? Their Politics Blog is chock full of observations and insights from people who are right there, and who have been there before.
The Olympian (and the Tacoma News Tribune) is a sister newspaper, so I am sending you to another newspaper site with a clear conscience. If I see anything on The Olympian or the TNT’s politics blog that strikes me as particularly interesting, I will feature it in this space.
So much for shirking my own duty filling this blog. Tomorrow, I have two posts planned, including an interesting story about what Republicans are doing to get the most out of their Super PAC dollars. Or something like that.
