Communities In Schools of Whatcom County’s second annual Race for Education 5K starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16.
Participants can walk or run the 3.1 mile course, which is a combination of roads and trails. The race starts and finishes at Squalicum Creek Park on Squalicum Parkway.
Pre-registration, which must be completed no later than Thrusday, Oct. 14, is $20 for the general public and $10 for students and educators. Day-of registration is $25. To register, go to www.whatcomcounty.ciswa.org.
