  1. Mr Ross says:

Why is she getting a starting salary of $200,000 a year plus free health care and parking and Dennis Murphy started at less than half of that?

This is just $50k less than WWU President Morse was making a few months back! Obscene gold plated salaries and benefit plans. WWU go figure, elite figure head positions like this should be abolished in these times of 11.4 million people out of work. They should be slowing State government expenses not growing it! The Board of Trustees that approved this and HR must be out of their frickin minds!

CMU did not pay her even half that much, it doesnt take a PHD in psychology to figure out that all the midwestern rats are jumping ship to higher paid West Coast schools…. including Dr. Shepard. This comes at the cost of student paid tuition raises. I.e. 14% in the next year is basically stealing from parents and students!

Vikings a true welfare State for the rich right here in Bellingham!

  2. Joe Morse says:

In these tough economic times the Board of Trustees have to be crazy to hire this women at $200,000 a year plus free medical benefits and retirement and moving!

With the tuition inflations increases of 14% I do not see how you can justify paying Provosts and Presidents on the back of the students paying tuition. It is unethical!

Could WWU have promoted internally or within the community?

  3. First off I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Thank you!

  4. Awesome site, looks like a theme that I might use on my website. Also, great article to read.
