Upcoming education meetings

School Days will be taking a week-long break starting Friday, so I wanted to make sure people knew about meetings happening between now and April 4.

And don’t forget, Western Washington University students are on break until March 29, Whatcom Community and Bellingham Technical college students start spring quarter April 5, and K-12 schools are on spring break April 4-8.

• Bellingham School Board meeting: March 24, 7 p.m. in the district office Agenda

• Blaine School Board meeting: March 28, 7 p.m. at Point Roberts Primary School.  (Note, for updates about Blaine School District budget information, click here.)

• Ferndale School Board special meeting: March 24, 5:30 p.m. in the district office.

• Lynden School Board meeting: March 24, 7 p.m. at Lynden Middle School, 516 Main St. Agenda

• Mount Baker School Board meeting: March 24, 6 p.m. in the district office.

• Windward High School information meetings: These meetings are for prospective students and parents who want to know more about how the school is reinventing itself for the 2011-12 school year. March 24, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Ferndale High School and March 28 at North Bellingham site, 5275 Northwest Ave.
