Ferndale school boundary maps posted

Written by | The Bellingham Herald | November 27, 2012

The Ferndale School District has posted two boundary maps in consideration for the district’s elementary schools next year.

See the maps here.

They were presented at a meeting Monday night at Vista Middle School, where more than 50 members of the public showed up to see the two options and voice their opinions.

There will be another meeting from 7-9 p.m. at Cascadia Elementary School.

Anyone who went to Monday’s forum have any thoughts about the two maps? Is there one you prefer, or any issues you think need to be addressed?

The Ferndale school district finally removed the chain link fence around the main building at North Bellingham Elementary, what a scam that was, trying to make it look worse than it really is! If it was repaired and reopened it would sure help with boundary issues! Hopefully they will figure this out and run a bond soon to repair our schools!

Oh by the way how much taxpayer money did they waste on the fence rental that was around the main building at North Bellingham Elementary, it was there for at least five or six years!!!!
