(Note: I’m really busy, so reporter Zoe Fraley did this story for me. She gave me permission to post it here on School Days.)

Lynden Christian Schools has chosen its next high school principal.

Kevin Kaemingk has accepted the Board of Directors’ offer to become principal of Lynden Christian High School starting in August. He is replacing Gary Kamps, who was interim principal for the 2009-10 school year.

Kaemingk graduated from Lynden Christian in 1985 and later got his doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Southern California. Previously, Kaemingk worked at Valley Christian High School in Cerritos, Calif. Kaemingk and his wife, Kelly, have three school-aged children.
