Race for Education Saturday

It’s set to be a beautiful day to run Saturday, Oct. 6, for the Race for Education 5k.

The 5k fun run/walk starts at 9 a.m. at Civic Stadium, 1601 Orleans St., with a course that loops through nearby trails. Online registration is closed, but day-of is available for $25, starting at 8 a.m.

Money raised goes to Communities in Schools Whatcom County and the Bellingham Public School Foundation.

The school with the highest percentage participation will get a winner’s banner to display all year.
